PZI jeans
Perazzi (aka PZI) jeans promotes their merchandise as "grown and sexy" specific and promises the ultimate fit for curvy women. The Atlanta based company specializes in mid-rise jeans sizes 4-16 that are designed to fit the woman with a slim waist and ample hips. As a woman with this particular attribute, I appreciate their efforts in acknowledging this under served market. The pants appear to be flattering and most importantly affordable. Here's a peek at their product offering:

Let me give you something real, that you can use...buying these jeans is not worth the money. These jeans are poorly made, they don't fit “our” hips and the service is slow. As a urban professional, I look for classy apparel and this is not it. They should want me as a repeat happy customer, but that was not the case. I’ll give you two examples with this product.
1. Online shopper (me). I wear a size 10 normally, but decided to purchase a 12 so I wouldn’t have to send it back and get re-charged for shipping. Wrong! Still too tight! I decide to give them another shot and return the jeans for a size 14. Whoa. That’s not cute at all. In the end, I paid for shipping twice and had to pay a restocking fee. Not worth the time or effort. And you can forget about trying to reach customer service….they are either not there or too busy trying justify their substandard product.
2. Store shopper (my best friend). She wears a size 12 normally. She finally found some jeans at a Macys and of course, GAP GAP GAP. This company’s slogan is “no GAP” in the back for the big bootie. In the end, the sista didn’t buy the jeans.
My opinion….stick with what you know looks good on the ebony bootie….Baby Phat! Give us a quality product and we will come.
I purchased my jeans in a local store, okay in the next county of Broward (not sold in Miami-Dade). Please try these jeans for yourself before accepting negative reviews. I do believe that the good press outweigh the bad. I do not wish to discount the view of the 'urban professional', but her comment is the one and only negative comment I've seen. Joe's Honey jeans were my Holy Grail, until I happened upon PZI. They are awesome for the woman with hips, butt and thighs!
I just have to say how HILARIOUS it is that the " urban professional" thinks Baby Phat is a quality jeans company! Baby Phat! I guess " urban" means " hood";)
pzi jeanes look good on ladys with thich Curves Period........
i bought a pair of pzi jeans and they fit me quite well. baby phat pants also fit me quite well. both are expensive though. the quality of jean for both is also decent. all and all, we need another supplier for jeans made for women of color...
I have Baby Phat Jeans and I have to always get then altered in the waist. Every pair of pants I buy I have to get them altered, with the exception of PZI. I love then they are sexy and affordable. No more alteration fees for me. I have a small waist, ass and thighs for days and I buy PZI, and so does my sister, cousins, and all my friends and no gaps.
Where can I possibly find a store in Broward that sells the jeans? I've been looking so hard for so long and I still can't find them!
The quality of the jeans are not worth the money.

hi!!!!
I just bought a few items from them for their cyber Monday sale. After reading reviews I was excited to try them. I tried their wide leg jean, which fit a lot better than most jeans, but not as good as my curvy fit Levis, but I liked the color(red) and the fact that they have longer inseams. I tried their Diamond Skinny Jean and was highly disappointed to find a gap at the back of my waist. Overall I am not impressed, pretty disappointed actually. They're not the perfect fit, and the quality doesn't look better than most other jeans I've seen. I don't think they're worth their price.
I’d like to offer a review of the pair of PZI Jeans I purchased this month. I found PZI in a search for the elusive jeans that fit women that have “curves” because I was sick of wearing jeans that don't fit in one way or another.
What ultimately swayed me toward the purchase were the YouTube videos of models wearing the jeans. Though these women are models their body types are similar to mine and this was the first time I have ever seen a jean modeled by a woman who doesn’t have the body shape of a flat board. I bought the Amber Boot Cut Jean in a size 10 with a short inseam.
I am not a fashionista and hate shopping for clothes so what you are about to read comes from a person who had to force herself to “think outside the box” and find jeans that fit my body type – for once. I own countless pairs of ill-fitting jeans and have sported the same two for nearly 12 years now. This was a real stab in the dark for me.
I had never purchased jeans online hence I had very low expectations. I placed the order on Feb 2 and they arrived on Feb 7. This is a good turnaround time considering that you are working with a small business.
The jean looks and feels very much like my well-worn 12 year old pair that I love so much. The fabric is decent quality as is the stitching. For $80.00 you get what you pay for and in this case you get a good product that delivers what it markets. If you consider $80.00 to be expensive, by any means, then I believe you will be disappointed.
As for the fit, well hot dammit they fit great. To my utter shock these jeans slipped on like my old pair and fit well. I did not have to tug, squat, bend over, side kick, etc. for the first time ever in my 2 decades of buying jeans from various designers and many price points. Even my husband was shocked and commented on how well they fit me. Just enough spandex to hug and accentuate my shape but not too tight. Looking at the waist shape I now see the concept behind the fit, curved waist band. I am very pleased with the jeans and am glad that I took a chance because it worked out. Hurray!
I must address the last reviewer who called the product “poorly made” and “substandard” as I believe the criticism is unduly harsh and poorly focused.
If you normally wear a size 10 BabyPhat jean then your waist is (per BabyPhat size chart) between 29-30.5” which is a little smaller than my measurements. You state that you could not fit a pair of PZI jeans with a waist up to 37”? And you tried twice! It appears to me that you are angry not at the actual “quality” of the product but angry that you are not a 10, 12, 14 by PZI sizing standards.
I took my measurements and ordered the size the company recommended and they fit all around. Had they NOT fit despite my measurements and my ordering per the companies size chart THEN I would question the quality of the product (manufacturing) and company.
I will however agree that customer service should always be available, there is no excuse for a lack of customer care even if you realize it’s a chick who is pissed that she can not squeeze into your size 10’s and offering a size 18 will likely result in a verbal assault – who wants that drama.
All in all, nice product that delivers. I’m very happy.
I love them.
I agree with those who said that these jeans were not worth it. I bought some. They still had a gap and you have to pay to return them. Thumbs down PZI. You guys need to steal the pattern from the Levis 529 Curvy jeans. Those fit the waist and booty great. I wish they came in more styles...
I Definitly agree with those saying that the customer service from pzijeans is reallyyyyyyy bad.
in my case I ordered a skinny jeans with an XL inseam which is a 38” according to the information giving on their site , I received a jean with an inseam of 36” so I asked for an exchange or refund but they refuse although it’s their fault, after that i kept sending them emails to clarify this stuff but they just wouldnt answer any.
when it comes to the quality, i must say very disapointed, their jeans are not real denim!!
waste of money man!
